Line filter stage II

ALUP fine filters – effective purification down to 0.01 microns.

The Stage II line filter is designed for additional purification of compressed air after the Stage I filter. While the Stage I filter removes larger dirt particles and oil droplets, it cannot prevent smaller particles below 1 micron from entering the system. The Stage II line filter ensures that these residues are also captured and do not reach the compressed air system. This is especially important when:

• the equipment contains precision mechanics or valves,

• the production process requires a high degree of purity,

• compressed air comes into contact with food or sensitive surfaces,

• maintenance needs are to be reduced and reliability increased.

Parameters of the Stage II line filter:

• Particle removal (µm): 0,01

• Output oil aerosol concentration (mg/m³): 0,01

• Total mass efficiency (%): >99,9

• Outlet air quality class (particles / oil): -/2, 1/ -

• Initial pressure drop in dry applications (bar): 0,085

• Initial pressure drop in wet applications (bar): 0,125

For complete compressed air purity, it is advisable to also include a Stage III line filter (carbon filter) in the system, which removes odors and vaporized oil particles.
